Food Might Increase Effect of Flu Medication

Flu medication contain multi combination drug. When flu medication take concurrently with garlic and Chili , it will increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. It is due to garlic and chili contain stimulating effect in the stomach. It might destroy or slow down the formation of the protective layer in the stomach. In addition, Flu medication contains NSAID’s might worsen this condition. If the NSAID’s content too concentrated, the chances of gastrointestinal bleeding and gastro pain might occurred.

Alcohol is can alter our liver function (CYP450) in our body. It slows down the mechanism of CYP450. When take with flu medication , over dosage might occurred due to slow metabolism of the drug. Dos adjustment is needed.
